Blog9 " CHANGE TO MY STUDY PROGAMME"

Hello, today the blog is about the change to my study progamme. This is my second year as a student of the chemistry and pharmacy in the university of chile. When I enter this program it had already been modified. This changes werevery important because there is more demand and competintiveness.

There are many who are in favor in change but also many are against, both teachers and students, personally I think that every change is to improve something of the past. In this case they were removed some subjects that were not fundamental for professional development and they also added some.

Anyway, I think sometimes they exceed the requirement and the academic load, every semester we have around 6/7 subjects they can even be 8 if you decide take an elective and it is a lot compared to other universities.

Talking about the faculty facilities there is not major problem when it comes to laboratories and classrooms but

there is not much space to be in free time, we only have a cafeteria, a small library and an annex (where there are tables to be able to be) but still is little for the amount of students.

About teaching methods are quite conventional, 2 test in each subject and their respective seminars, usually they do not innovate
n this. Anyway, it's the place where I chose to create myself as a professional and it is far the best decision I could make. As everything in life has good and bad things.
